Keeping a phone charged is important. There are many USB batteries out there that I know of, but when iMuto reached out for a second review for a smaller, more compact battery, I was more than happy to help. Today we’re looking at the iMuto 10,000 mAh External USB Battery.
In the box, you get the following items:
- USB Battery
- Micro-USB Cable
- Nylon Pouch
- Miscellaneous pamphlets and documentation
I always love getting the extra pouch to carry the battery. It means a lot when a company gives you a branded way to hold onto your device if you so choose. I would LOVE to get a USB-C cable with these batteries as well, but that might add extra cost to the device, so I’ll stick to my own cables for my Nexus 6P.
Anyways, when dealing with USB batteries, the mAh and the size are the two most important factors. With this device, both factors are done well. At a whopping 10,000 mAh, this USB battery will charge your phone over probably two times, maybe more! When considering the size of the battery, iMuto took a “thick” approach to the device in exchange for an awkward length of a thin battery. This allows you to keep this in a small bag or pocket without it being felt too easily. The thickness makes itself evident in a pocket, but it is barely noticeable after a few minutes.
The USB battery has a charge indicator which displays in a very bright and noticeable way. Just be sure not to invert the battery and assume 16 percent when you actually have 91%. I may put a % symbol on the right of the display in sharpie to make sure I read it properly each time.
The battery feels great in your hand and sports two USB ports. Micro-USB is used to charge the device.
I was able to provide some great charge to my phone. The USB cable supports plug and charge, which auto-powers on the battery.
When you’re ready to go somewhere, it fits nicely in the nylon bag provided.
So there you have it, the iMuto 10,000 mAh USB battery supports all your phone needs and is a great size and battery capacity. Click the image below to learn more:
